One of the best music festivals that exist! This event features more than two hundred songwriters performing at indoor and outdoor venues around the island, and that includes a Songwriters performing right here with us at The Marker Resort. This is another one of our favorite events because our guests and visitors have the opportunity to tune in and connect with the songwriters and the music in a unique island setting. Most of the Songwriter events are free, some are paid, and there is a must-attend (you don’t want to miss this) free concert on Duval Street on the weekend.

We love this festival and it’s because we get to be part of it as well! Kick back, relax poolside and enjoy drink specials and the top Songwriters and Artists perform poolside at our Key West waterfront resort!
In 2016 Jake Owen performed at the Key West Songwriters Festival, and this is what he had to say, “ “I love coming down here because, as a fan of music, I’m a fan of all these songwriters,” said Owen shortly before taking the stage. “When you see someone who’s so talented play a song that they wrote or created, it’s like art — it lives forever.”
