Mile Marker Zero Sign

The sign says it all and is one of the most sought after photos visitors like to check off the list while on vacay. Located at the corner of Fleming and Whitehead Street is where you’ll find the Mile Marker Zero Sign. Why so popular? This sign marks the end (or the beginning) of US 1, and the other sign is located in Fort Kent in Maine. It’s one of the most famous mile markers of the Country. So when you visit, make sure to get a photo in front of this famous sign. It’s proof you’ve made it to the end of the road.

This is that touristy place you’ll visit to get that photo that says, “I was there.” Located at the corner of Whitehead Street and South Street, is where you’ll find the Southernmost Point Buoy, one of the most photographed landmarks on the Island. This anchored concrete buoy reads “90 Miles to Cuba Southernmost Point in the Continental U.S.A. Don’t be surprised if there is a line; everyone wants this photo!
