Yes, Key West has a beach dedicated to our besties, and it’s called Dog Beach!

As our friend @bloothefrenchie says on Instagram, “When you find a dog beach before a human beach in the Keys, life is good.” We could not agree more.
While Dog Beach is small, it’s truly a hidden gem next to one of our favorite restaurants and bars, Louie’s Backyard, located at the corner of Vernon and Waddell Streets. Once your pet has had enough playtime, head over to Louie’s and for a drink and enjoy the view.
Go to the Dog Park
There’s one off-leash dog park in Key West located at Higgs Beach Dog Park. If you want your pup to run and play in an off-leash fenced area, Key West dog park is the place to go. The dog park includes a separate area for small pets, grassy open spaces, shade, and benches. Higgs Beach Dog Park, 100 Atlantic Blvd, Key West, FL 33040.
