Our Key West Harbor Resort is ready to welcome all guests to paradise, and just so you are aware, our four-legged friends may get some extra love from our team. While no jumping on the bed is encouraged by our guests, we think it’s time to pamper our pets and provide them with the perfect place to sleep and a pawsome vacation experience. After a long nap, we encourage the whole family to head out and explore the island and take some time to paws and reflect.

Did you know one of the most scenic walks in Key West just happens to take place right outside our resort? It’s true, the harborwalk along the Key West Historic Seaport, also known as the Key West Bight, offers marina views with schooners, yachts, and boats, waterfront restaurants and bars, and the path to your island adventures.

Blue Heaven, located in Bahama Village, has become an iconic landmark for Floridian-Caribbean cuisine, key lime pie, and live music in a funky setting. It’s the place you won’t mind waiting for a table. It’s family-friendly, and leashed dogs are welcome at outdoor tables.

Louie’s Backyard

You can’t beat the location as it’s steps from Dog Beach. After you and your dog have fun frolicking at the beach and in the ocean, head over to the After Deck at Louie’s for a drink. Don’t worry; they’ll bring a cocktail for you too.

Salute! On The Beach

Great Restaurant! We have eaten here many times with our dog and have never been disappointed. Food is fantastic and our girl is always welcome. ~ Alice via BringFido

I can’t even remember stepping foot in Schooner Wharf, where we didn’t see Fido taking a nap while parents are sipping on cocktails, grabbing a bite to eat while listening to music at our favorite Key West dive bar at the Seaport.

While Dog Beach is small, it is a cool place for you and your dog(s) to play in the sun, sand, and water, and you can’t beat its location - next to Louie’s Backyard at Vernon and Waddell Streets.

Located across from Higgs Beach (and Salute! On the Beach is steps away) is where you’ll find a place dedicated to our furry friends and animal lovers. Higgs Beach Dog Park hosts a large and actively utilized dog park with separate runs for small and large dogs. In this park, your pet is allowed to run and play off-leash at this fenced Key West dog park with grassy open spaces, shade, and benches for the rest of the family.
