Driving through the Florida Keys on the Overseas Highway is something you should experience at least once in your life. There is a 110 mile stretch from Miami to Key West where you’ll be crossing 42 bridges and a spectacular scenic drive you’ll cherish forever.

How long does it take to get from Miami to Key West? The drive would take about 4 hours, and that’s if you were to drive straight through without any traffic delays. Take your time, go slow, and remember you are officially on island time.

Have you taken the Ferry to Key West?

The Key West Express departs from two Southwest Florida locations, Fort Myers Beach (year-round) and Marco Island (seasonally), to Key West. It’s a super fun way to travel. Climb aboard the modern, air-conditioned high-speed ferry featuring sundecks, a snack bar, cocktails, and big-screen TVs.
