It’s nice to see new businesses opening in Key West, especially during COVID. We are happy to share the latest updates and happenings, including restaurant openings, some even relocating, and a new resale boutique with a fun fashion twist offering private shopping parties for small groups and gatherings.
Restaurant News at the Historic Seaport
Today we are giving you the inside scoop on dining at the Seaport. Let’s take a quick look at the changes happening at the nearby waterfront restaurant, bars, and eateries.
The White Tarpon Bar & Restaurant
Great news for fans of The White Tarpon Bar & Restaurant, they’ve moved to a new location with a great view of the historic A & B Marina. Don’t worry; they didn’t move that far away. They now reside where The Boat House was, and The Boat House (soon to reopen) has relocated to the Turtle Kraals location. The sad news here is one of our longtime favorite restaurants at the Key West Bight, Turtle Kraals, has closed.

Kudos to Kirby Myers for opening the store during COVID, and oh how happy we are that she did. Visitors are greeted with a smile and a treasured showroom of style along with a thoughtfully curated display of pre-loved women’s clothing, jewelry, accessories, and home decor items.
This boutique is colorful, vibrant, bold, and beautiful, just like Kirby. It’s a happy place, and the one comment we see time and time again is, “I’ve never had so much fun shopping.”
Kirby knows how to style, so if you’re visiting and need something extra special or just in the mood for something new, she’ll help you out. “Best shopping experience ever! Surprise my brother-in-law is getting Married NEXT WEEK! The Private Shopping Parties
Kirby has created something extra special, a two-hour private shopping experience for small groups of eight to 12. The locals love it and take advantage of a girl’s night in at Kirby’s Closet with fashion and friends. Reserve an evening after the store closes, from 5-7 or 6 to 8, or reserve a Brunch Party on Saturday mornings.
